Cheat codes for Red Dead Redemption 2 can simplify or complicate the game, making it more interesting. Codes are created by developers to test various aspects of the game, but in single-player games, developers usually do not restrict players from using cheats.

These codes can add weapons to the game, make the character (or characters) immortal, add an infinite amount of ammunition, and much more. In this article, we will explain how to enable cheat code mode in RDR 2 and provide a list of all the codes that currently exist (excluding those added to the game by mods).

All current cheat codes in RDR 2

To start entering cheat codes in RDR 2, you simply need to press the tilde key (~). This will activate the developer console in the game, allowing you to enter cheat codes.

Before using console commands, it is recommended to make a backup of your saves. This is an optional step, and usually entering cheat codes does not have negative consequences.

Console Command	Action
Abundance is the dullest desire	After entering this command, you can use unlimited ammunition for all weapons without buying them.
My kingdom is a horse	Your horse is your most loyal companion. After entering this command, your horse's trust will increase to the maximum level.
Vanity. All is vanity	Never forget about your appearance. This cheat code unlocks all existing costumes in RDR 2.
You want punishment	This console command increases the wanted level. Enter it multiple times to reach the maximum wanted level.
You want freedom	The opposite command. After entering it, your wanted level decreases by one. Enter it multiple times to completely remove the wanted level.
You want more than you have	Enter this code if you want to get the highest quality, fastest, and most resilient horse in the game.
Keep your dreams light	Light carriage.
You want something new	If you're tired of your horse and want something random, use this console command. After entering it, you will receive a random horse. It's impossible to predict which horse you will get.
Share	After entering this command, all camp upgrades will be unlocked.
Eat of knowledge	You are a gourmet. Unlock all food recipes in the game.
The lucky be strong evermore	Arthur no longer gets tired, and you have a huge stamina bar.
Better than my dog	An interesting cheat code that improves the whistle mechanic (calling the horse) in RDR 2.
Make me better	Unlock the second level of the "Dead Eye" skill.
I shall be better	After entering this code, you will obtain the third level of "Dead Eye".
I still seek more	After entering this code, you will obtain the fourth level of "Dead Eye".
A fool on command	Want to be drunk without drinking? Easy!
You flourish before you die	Hesoyam! Nostalgia! Enter this code to restore all attributes to the maximum.
Run! Run! Run!	The fastest horse in the wild west is now yours!
Keep your dreams simple	Spawn a regular wagon.
Greed is American Virtue	After entering this command, you will receive a small pack of weapons.
You Long for Sight and See Nothing	No more fog of war or other restrictions on the game map.
Virtue Unearned is not virtue	For do-gooders. Increase your honor level without performing good deeds. It's that easy!
You revel in your disgrace, I see	A true villain. Decrease your honor level quickly and without misdeeds!
You Seek More Than The World Offers	Increases all attributes (health and more).
Balance. All is balance	Want to maintain neutrality? Don't want to become a villain, but also don't want to be a do-gooder? Reset your honor level to zero!
You are a beast built for war	Don't like your horse for racing? How about a war horse?
Would you be happier as a clown?	In such a harsh game, a little fun won't hurt. This cheat code spawns a circus wagon.
A simple life, a beautiful death	Another set of weapons for Arthur completely free!
Death is silence	If you want to play the game in stealth, this set of weapons will definitely come in handy.
History is written by fools	And the last set of weapons for Arthur. You no longer need to buy weapons because everything can be obtained quickly and for free.
Greed is now a virtue	Need more money for something? Times are tough. Each entry of this cheat code will give your character 500 in-game dollars. Too bad you can't do that in real life.
Seek all the bounty of this place	Increases health and stamina attributes.
