The Ornate Key is a special item from the Invasion Mode, with which you can unlock locked chests and gain access to special, rare resources. One of them is skins and new color schemes for the fighters.

Where to find the ornate key

You can buy keys from collector merchants. They are scattered randomly across the Invasion locations, and their goods may periodically refresh. Note that you can only buy one item. If one seller does not have the desired item, just wait for the shop to refresh or find a new collector.

To locate the merchants, go to the Pause menu and select the "Shops" tab. The merchants appear as unusual blue six-armed creatures with a backpack. The cost of the ornate key is 100 crowns.

Crowns are a special currency for Invasion Mode, which you will earn for exploring locations and winning battles. Merchants in Invasion only accept crowns.

How to use the ornate key

Keys are simple to use: approach a locked chest and use the item from your inventory. As a reward, you might receive a character skin, coins, talismans, relics, or equipment.
