How to find the Nether Stone in Mortal Kombat 1
The Nether Stone is a special item from the Invasion Mode. With it, you can unlock access to new locations that are blocked by a fiery wall. Behind these gates, you can face special opponents and receive valuable rewards. In this guide, we will explain where to find and how to use the Nether Stone.
How to obtain the Nether Stone
You can obtain the Nether Stone after battling the final boss of Invasion Mode - the enhanced Scorpion at the Fire Temple level. You can easily recognize the location by the towering figure of Scorpion above it.
Proceed to the location where you will immediately confront the main adversary. The first phase of the battle won't differ from a fight with a regular Scorpion. In the second and third phases, the enemy's fire damage will increase, as will his health pool. The battle will be challenging, so don't worry if you can't pass the challenge on the first try. We recommend using amulets for elemental resistance before the fight.
After defeating Scorpion, you will not only receive the Nether Stone but also a special seasonal skin for the ninja.
You won't be able to get the Stone before the Scorpion battle, so you'll first need to clear all the seasonal levels fully.
How to use the Nether Stone
Immediately after obtaining the Stone, return to the locations where you found the fiery gates. The Stone is used automatically as soon as you approach the blocked zone.
Behind the gates, special level 20 enemies await you. They won't pose a problem if you've been progressing sequentially through the Invasion Mode and haven't skipped ahead. Typically, by the time you face Scorpion, your level will be approaching or will have reached 30, which is the maximum.
For your victory, you'll receive special talismans, relics, secret chests, and portals with new rewards.
