A block added to the game in the recent updates of the Nether. It can only be found in the Nether and is called Netherite.

Search and Mining

Finding Netherite is not difficult. The blocks are found everywhere and can be found in any biome in the Nether. However, the main location is the Basalt Deltas. Bastion Remnants also generate Netherite. You can find it in large quantities there. Additionally, it can appear on the remnants of a ruined portal. All these structures have natural generation. So it's important to simply explore the Nether.

There is also a way to obtain it through trading, for example, with Piglins. You can exchange 1 gold ingot for 8-16 blocks of Netherite.

Netherite can only be mined with a pickaxe. Even a wooden one will suffice.   

As you can see, searching and mining are not difficult tasks. Plus, there are crafting possibilities for various Netherite blocks in the game.

Varieties and Their Creation

There are many types of this block, including:

• Netherite

• Engraved Polished Netherite

• Gilded Netherite

• Polished Netherite

The last one is crafted from 4 blocks of regular Netherite:

Engraved Polished Netherite is created by using polished Netherite on a stonecutter. The stonecutter is also the key to crafting a range of items:

Gilded Netherite is generated naturally in the Nether. It is a source of gold nuggets. The full block can only be obtained with a silk touch-enchanted pickaxe.

Uses and Crafting with Netherite

These Nether blocks can replace cobblestone when crafting tools, brewing stands, and furnaces. Simply replace it with Netherite in the crafting menu to create stone tools. However, if you try to craft other items such as walls or pistons, Netherite cannot replace cobblestone.

Polished Netherite Bricks are crafted on a stonecutter. You can also use the stonecutter to craft stairs, fences, and other items from Netherite.  Polished Netherite can also be used to make pressure plates, stairs, fences, and bricks.

In the game, it's possible to craft cracked Netherite bricks. Simply smelt regular Netherite bricks in a furnace:
